That is what I have been doing with myself. Translating some pompous dude's third person account of himself so I can impress so more dudes in 3 weeks with my flashy Latin skills! My skills aren't quite flashy enough - I need to work harder. My work ethic came back like 5 minutes ago. Hello, work ethic! I went to ask the secretary a question today because I was confused. The answer was, I read something wrong. You would think that with so much time on my hands, I could read things correctly. But anyway, when I went to the centre my work ethic came flooding back, because I don't want other people to think I suck. This is an unhealthy, but strong, motivator.

Today, I saw a lady in the elevator who made me sad in a strange way. She had very short, spiky hair dyed bright red - it was the standard lesbian crew cut. She had an ugly little white dog. She wore a red baseball tee with a picture of another white dog on it. The big capital lettering underneath said SPANKY 2000-2004 I MISS YOU. She reminded me of my old boss, Miss Annette. It made me wonder what sort of all-encompassing love inspires a glowing tee-shirt tribute. I thought, nobody does that with people! Except Missy Elliot. And P-diddy. And other rap artists whose friends die in unfortunate accidents. What is the connection? I do not know.
